हमारी गणना विधि
All timings on this site are computed with drik ganita (observational calculation) using the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa — the standard used by the Indian national panchang. Sunrise and sunset are computed for your city's exact coordinates, which is why our timings can differ by a few minutes from a panchang printed for another city.
Choghadiya follows the classical Gauri choghadiya weekday sequence. Rahu Kalam, Yamaganda and Gulika Kalam divide the local day-length into eight parts as per tradition. Personal daily guidance uses your janma nakshatra and rasi with the classical Tarabala, Chandrabala and Ashtakavarga methods — computed, never guessed.
